Dubailand

Did you know that a total of three Walt Disney Worlds can fit into the almost-complete Dubailand complex? Over 278 sq. Km in size, the new $64 billion Dubailand will have the most extensive collection of recreational facilities in the world. There will be at least six parts: hotels, science attractions, theme parks, science attractions, eco-tourism, and health centers. The complex will also have the largest hotel globally, boasting over 6,500 suites!

Opened in December 2016, the Dubai Parks and Resort is a super development theme park inside the Dubailand complex. It features three different theme parks: Bollywood Parks Dubai, Motiongate Dubai, and Legoland Dubai. The classy development also features the Lupita Hotel, which boasts a Polynesian theme; Riverland, with places to dine and shop; and Legoland Water Park.

The three ultramodern theme parks making up the Dubai Park were designed by architects Gensler, Riva Creative, HOK, Rabben Herman, Forrec, and RTKL. Also involved in the infrastructure design were Samsung SDS and CH2M Hill.

The Dubai Park also features 20km of jogging tracks, 30km of pedestrian pathways, and more than 14km of cycle tracks.

What’s more, the public garden includes one major event ground and more than ten sports arenas. Also included are 45 sports grounds, 55 playgrounds for children, coffee shops, retail areas for shops, and exquisite restaurants.

My friend Susan, who owns AdFaze, an SEO company in Richmond Va., wrote a paper on Dubailand and the huge folly it turned into. She mentioned that the Bayut site has a lot of information on this project if you want to read more about it.
